 Look what I fouuuuund!

This purse was just way too irresistible. I love the royal blue and gold together...so vintage and chic. I must say, I purchased the bag for $111 in Macy's. If you love love love it, you will be saving a few dollars at Nordstrom $ $98.90. What a steal!
So why is this blog worthy? Well because the colors reminded me of a Bridal Dessert Table I stumbled upon, while browsing. Take a look.

Great Finds ~ Pilgrim Planters

Do you get the Lowe's Creative Ideas magazine in the mail? Mine was just in time for my next holiday preparations.The magazine featured this great way to display fall foliage in a container -inspired by the first Thanksgiving.

Instructions

Step1. Wrap a piece of black electrical tape (sold in Lowe's ), around the rim of a 4-inch Terra-cotta planter. I imagine you could use a piece of black ribbon for this as well.

Step 2. Use a hot-glue gin to attach a gold washer (sold in Lowe's) over the electrical tape. Fill a small vase with flowers or foliage, and then place inside the planter.

Terra cotta planters are really inexpensive and can be found in craft stores as well as home and gardening stores. If you do invest in the planters, you can always reuse them for another event by spray painting them.

Magazine Find- Better Homes and Gardens

I stumbled upon this magazine as I was waiting in line at the grocery store.This is a Better Homes and Gardens Special Edition Publication "Food Gifts". While browsing I thought, why not share this discovery. For only $9.99, I thought I would make the purchase,since this magazine is filled with so many ideas on how to decorate your gifts...specifically Food Gifts. It was definitely worth buying. What is also great is that you will discover how many things you have around your house that can be used to make fabulous looking gifts.
Anyhow, for your viewing pleasure, I took some photos.
