I posted a few pictures from this amazing Hello Kitty Party but here are some more details.
I am really proud how these Hello Kitty Centerpieces turned out and I cannot wait to make them for another party.

Dora Themed Birthday

Dora themed parties are pretty popular with the toddlers.

This party features some vibrant colors and shows how beautiful you can make your event. You will notice that this Dora party is part custom\part store bought but nonetheless super cute, considering we had less than a week for planning.

Walmart does a good job with these cupcake icing colors and the Dora rings come with the cupcakes. You won't believe the cost....$0.50 per cupcake.

Dr Seuss Playdate\Party

Who is Dr.Seuss? Theodor Seuss Geisel  was an American writer/ cartoonist  known for his children's books written under the pen names Dr. Seuss....
The kids did not show much interest in the history but they enjoyed the play date, especially the books and the candy.  The play date was educational and also whimsical hence keeping the little ones amused. Here are the details. 

Dr. Seuss story books were used as place mats.

The tables consisted of things I already had around the house. All of this cost me $0.00. Try it, you'll be amazed !!

The kids took home goodie bags with candy and fish snacks.

Great Finds~ Lace Tape

How genius is lace tape. These are self adhesive decorative tapes for making more pretty packages.

This black lace tape is so versatile.

Purple Party

Here is the purple event-Like I promised.

This party was planned for a group of friends celebrating birthdays in October. I have been told that I love purple so why not use purple this time, ah? There is no real theme and I took sort of a minimalistic approach on this one by not adding too much to the party table.
I have to say though, that I am loving my new black and white table linen by Bagdley Mischka, and I will be using this again pretty soon.

Pretty Party Favors and Gifts

I can no longer give someone a gift that is not adorned with ribbons, flowers or something well thought about. Here are some ideas I saw from Martha Stewart. These Monogrammed labels are amazing. You'll need a 3-inch craft circle punch to make the circles perfect.

Magazine Find- Better Homes and Gardens

I stumbled upon this magazine as I was waiting in line at the grocery store.This is a Better Homes and Gardens Special Edition Publication "Food Gifts". While browsing I thought, why not share this discovery. For only $9.99, I thought I would make the purchase,since this magazine is filled with so many ideas on how to decorate your gifts...specifically Food Gifts. It was definitely worth buying. What is also great is that you will discover how many things you have around your house that can be used to make fabulous looking gifts.
Anyhow, for your viewing pleasure, I took some photos.
